Sallie Mae to reverse offshore jobs?

Well what seems like the worst in the economy to hit yet or has already hit (this portion of the recession in the article could not be cited due to too much information on both aspects of the economy) was is the rest of the world to do with all the jobs America has been giving them? Answer: return them back to America! In a recent rumor swirling the net, Sallie Mae is offering to return 2,000 jobs back to U.S. soil. Those of the jobs to return are those in the field of IT, call centers, and operations support.

What will this mean for us for the future? More jobs to bring in more revenue to the U.S. which we all know that it couldn’t really be a horrible thing now could it?

Lets back track this idea. When the economy started swirling the drain back in the day (no one really knows the exact date. This could have been as long as 3 years to as little as 1 year ago. I just shrug at the details and insert a word that is more readily identifiable) we were wondering how this could be. Why so many jobs are being lost and what that could mean for the future of a company as well as the future of the country. Well when the economy had a booming open-for-business sign up at the import/export section in Target, everyone was paying attention. Countries such as India, the Philippines, and Mexico, countries that are rumored to have low wage expectancies and a horrible reputation for customer services (just call some of the relocated companies 1-800 numbers and tell me what you think) were getting all of our good jobs. I’m sure you remember those inspirational messages on your t.v. screens with a man and a woman who just bought a house, had a baby, and now learned that the man’s job was soon to be shifted overseas, leaving the man unemployed as well as his housewife with the new baby and the unpaid mortgage.

Who in the hell did not see this coming?

Rob Pattinson Being a Bitch about New Role?

Ok so I’m not one to judge. And I hate the fact that I have to tear down another human being for the sake of mankind. I just feel that this has to be done.

So I’m sure that some of you have heard the latest gossip about New Moon and Twilight star Robert Pattinson feeling that he has hit a height in his career, a plateau so to speak of, and that he’s also feeling that his role as a leading male character is gone. Well I hate to break it to your dumbass. Maybe you should have read the books.

This is a spoiler warning: If you haven’t read the book, but want to. Stop reading this. Unless you really want to know. You have been warned at least.

Ok so in the book, New Moon, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan seem to have perfection in paradise until her birthday party at the Cullen’s house, the same night that Jasper Hale had almost attacked Bella over a paper cut. The reader then assumes that this level of danger that Bella was put in has put Edward in his right mind to assume that their relationship is too dangerous to bear anymore, and leaves Bella, hurt and alone. After we see this shift of Edwards departure, here enters Jacob Black, the Quileute native, with a hidden secret. So surprise automatically that Jacob Black (a.k.a. Taylor Lautner) is now the new leading man for the majority of the book.

This is why I said that it would be interesting to see how badly they can mess up the New Moon movie. With this huge shift in perspectives as well as locations, I am having to admit, even to myself, that I curious how this movie will play out.

Now this new comes to no surprise that Kristen Stewart acts like more of a whore about this series than lets say a Kimber in Nip/Tuck, or even a Hermione Granger in Harry Potter. Bouncing between the two leading men, in which at the very end has an interesting if not disappointing twist to the book as I’m sure the movie will once all is played out. So having known this information about her relations with Taylor as opposed to Rob in the homecoming of the second in the series, is really no surprise to hear. I’m actually feeling sorry for those who signed up for this role.

As I watched the Today show on NBC that showed the Twilight buffs Kristen and Rob together as they answered questions about their new role, I had to be honest that I wasn’t awed over their answers. When asked if either one had heard or read the series both replied “NO”. How can you justify putting yourself in a role based off of a book and not have ever read the book. If they had maybe Rob wouldn’t be acting like the bitch that he seems to be acting like. It would be more of an expectation than a shock.

So do I feel that he’s a whining, needy, bitch in need of a good comb or clippers? The answer is “yes I do very much so”. I have never been a fan of this series, I admit to struggling through the books and the first movie, but this just takes stupidity over and over the edge. I can’t even believe that this is what news is anymore.

I am ashamed. For everyone who likes this garbage.
